What is ADR in PUBG?
ADR means average damage per round. It is your total damage dealt divided by the number of matches you played. If you deal 12,000 damage across 50 matches, your ADR is 240.

ADR is useful because it measures fight impact even when you do not get the final kill. A player who cracks armor, forces heals and sets up knocks can have strong ADR before their K/D catches up. Read ADR together with K/D, win rate and average placement rather than treating one number as the full story.
PUBG ADR benchmarks
Under 100
Low impact
You are usually dying before dealing meaningful damage.
100-150
Developing
You are landing shots but not consistently winning trades.
150-220
Solid
A useful squad player who contributes damage most games.
220-300
Strong
You create real fight pressure and often open knocks.
300+
Excellent
High-impact fragging, especially if paired with wins and survival.
How to improve ADR
- Take damage-positive fights. Peek from cover, avoid open-ground duels and disengage when you cannot trade back.
- Finish your damage. If you tag someone for 80 and let them heal for free, the fight resets. Use grenades, angles and pressure to convert damage into knocks.
- Review bad deaths. Open a match replay and check whether you died with no damage, got third-partied, or rotated too late into a forced fight.
