PUBG ranked explained
PUBG ranked is built around one hard truth: surviving matters. Kills, assists and damage help, but the games that climb are usually the ones where you combine fight impact with strong placement.

What affects your ranked climb?
Placement
Late placement protects RP because it proves you survived stronger circles and harder rotations. Ranked rewards consistency more than chaos.
Kills and assists
Kills matter, but they are strongest when paired with survival. A two-kill top-five game usually tells a better ranked story than a three-kill early death.
Damage
Average damage shows fight impact even when your squadmate secures the finish. Use ADR with K/D to see whether you are creating pressure.
Rotations
Good ranked players avoid forced blue-zone crosses. Review 2D replays to see whether your deaths happen because of aim, timing or late rotation.
How to use leaderboards
A leaderboard entry is not just a rank. Click a player and check their recent match history, K/D, win rate and maps played. If a top player consistently survives longer than you, open a replay and compare rotation timing instead of only copying their weapons.
If your K/D is strong but ranked progress feels stuck, look at ADR and placement. If your ADR is low but placement is high, you may be avoiding fights you need to take. If both are low, start with safer drops and cleaner rotations.
