What is a good PUBG K/D?

A K/D between 1.0 and 2.0 is average and competitive in PUBG. Above 2.0 is strong, 4.0+ is excellent, and 6.0+ is pro/streamer level. Because PUBG matches start with up to 100 players and only one can win, K/D ratios run lower than in arena shooters — so don't compare your PUBG number to a Call of Duty or CS2 one.

K/D is the fastest read on your fighting impact, but it only tells half the story without win rate and damage.

K/D ratio tiers in PUBG

Under 1.0
Beginner
You die more often than you get kills — normal when starting out.
1.0 – 2.0
Average
Roughly where most active players sit. A solid, competitive K/D.
2.0 – 4.0
Strong
Clearly above average — you win the majority of your fights.
4.0 – 6.0
Excellent
Top-tier ranked territory. Consistent fragging and smart survival.
6.0+
Pro / streamer
The level of full-time competitive and content players.

How K/D is calculated

K/D is your total kills divided by your total deaths. In PUBG you take one death each match you don't win, so a player with 200 kills across 100 lost matches has a 2.0 K/D. It's the single most-used measure of a player's fragging ability, but pair it with win rate and average damage for the full picture — a high-K/D player who never wins may be over-aggressive.
