About the MG3
A 7.62 machine gun with a selectable 660 or 990 RPM fire rate and a 75-round belt. Deploy the bipod and it turns windows and ridgelines into no-go zones — the highest sustained volume of fire in the game.
Base damage is the unarmored body-shot value. Helmets and vests reduce it, headshots multiply it, and damage falls off over distance.
